The champions dominated the first set 21-15, but Nanjing's duo fired back with a 21-13 second-set comeback. The decider had fans on their feet 🤯 as both teams traded explosive spikes and gravity-defying saves. Xue and Zeng ultimately sealed victory 15-9, their teamwork shining brighter than the Hong Kong skyline 🌃.
"We’ve battled injuries and trained non-stop for this," said Zeng, revealing their year-long preparation. Veteran partner Xue, competing in her SIXTH National Games, added: "Every drop of sweat was worth it!"
