US-China Documentary Wins Golden Angel Award 🏆🎥

🎉 A groundbreaking documentary co-produced by Chinese and American filmmakers just scored big at the 21st Chinese American Film and Television Festivals in Los Angeles! Bridge To A Shared Future took home the Golden Angel Award for Best TV Documentary this week, blending history with modern-day storytelling.

📽️ The film follows Adam Foster, a US journalist and great-nephew of trailblazing reporter Helen Foster Snow, as he retraces his ancestors’ 1930s journey through China. Helen and her husband Edgar Snow famously documented their interviews with Chinese revolutionary leaders like Mao Zedong, resulting in the iconic book Red Star Over China.

"This isn’t just about the past—it’s a blueprint for cross-cultural understanding today," Adam shared in the documentary.

🌏 With never-before-seen archival footage and fresh interviews, the project highlights how journalism can bridge divides—a message that’s gone viral among Gen Z viewers. The win comes as US-China cultural exchanges hit a five-year high in 2025.
