CMG’s ‘China Red’ Fleet Powers Up Milan 2026 Winter Olympics 🚌❄️

China Media Group’s 🔴 ‘China Red’ broadcast fleet is rolling toward Milan! The 17-meter-long 4K/8K ultra-HD vehicles left Beijing this week, set to arrive at Italy’s San Siro Stadium by January 13 ahead of next year’s Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. Talk about a tech road trip! 🛣️

Designed entirely in-house, these mobile studios expand to 5.8 meters wide during operation – that’s wider than three parked Teslas! ⚡ With 34 workstations and capacity for 80 simultaneous 4K feeds, they’ll help CMG deliver 8K broadcasts for figure skating and short track events – a Winter Olympics first! 🏅

CMG snagged prime real estate at Milan’s International Broadcasting Center: 1,700 sqm workspace + 223 sqm tech hub. Three studio systems will handle everything from athlete close-ups to ice-cam angles. ❄️📸 "This is next-level sports storytelling," one engineer told us.
