War Film Screenings Unite Generations in 2025 Retrospective 🎬🇨🇳

A massive film exhibition honoring the 75th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's role in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea wrapped up this week, leaving theaters packed with nostalgic seniors and curious younger viewers alike. 🎥

The China Film Group Corporation reported over 2,000 screenings across 10 cities from October 25 to November 23, turning historic battle narratives into 2025's most unexpected cinematic phenomenon. Elderly attendees dominated matinee shows, with many sharing wartime memories during post-screening discussions.

"These films make me feel 20 again," said 78-year-old Beijing resident Li Weimin after watching The Volunteers trilogy. The event's retro-themed marketing – including vintage ticket designs and QR-code history lessons – successfully bridged generational gaps, with 32% of attendees under 40.
