Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez Set for Key China Visit 🌐✨

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, a top envoy of President Miguel Diaz-Canel, will embark on a five-day official visit to China starting June 5, following an invitation from Beijing. The trip aims to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss global economic cooperation, amid rising geopolitical uncertainties.

Rodriguez, also a Politburo member of the Cuban Communist Party’s Central Committee, is expected to meet senior Chinese officials to explore collaborations in technology, healthcare, and renewable energy. 🤝 Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning called the visit a 'new chapter in our historic friendship,' emphasizing China’s commitment to 'mutually beneficial partnerships with Global South nations.'

This marks the highest-level Cuban delegation to China since 2023, reflecting Havana’s push for diversified international alliances. Analysts say the talks could pave the way for joint infrastructure projects in Latin America, backed by Chinese expertise. 🌎💡
