In a significant move to bolster international relations, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Wednesday. Xi announced China’s commitment to importing more quality agricultural products from Serbia and plans to invite 300 Serbian youths to study in China over the next three years. The leaders also discussed the importance of opposing hegemony, power politics, and promoting international fairness and justice. Xi emphasized the need to uphold the principles of the United Nations Charter and practice true multilateralism.
On his part, Vucic expressed Serbia’s firm support for China’s legitimate positions on key issues and highlighted how Chinese investment has significantly advanced Serbia’s economic and social development.
