A powerful tropical cyclone named Gamane swept across the island of Madagascar this week, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 18 lives. The National Bureau of Risk and Disaster Management reported that over 20,000 people have been displaced due to the storm.
Injuries were also reported, with three individuals hurt and four still missing. Rescue and relief efforts are ongoing as communities work to recover from the devastation caused by Cyclone Gamane. Our thoughts are with the residents of Madagascar during this difficult time. 🙏❤️
