Good news for Zixing City residents! 🌟 After the heavy rains brought by Typhoon Gaemi, road, electricity, and telecom services are largely back up and running in most villages of Zixing City, located in central China's Hunan Province.
Authorities announced during a press conference that electricity and communications have been successfully resumed in 183 administrative villages. While this is a significant milestone, relief efforts are still ongoing to fully restore roads in 19 villages, power supply in 24 villages, and telecommunications in 31 villages.
In addition to restoring essential services, a total of 300 metric tonnes of relief supplies have been delivered to Zixing. The authorities also took action to ensure everyone's safety, evacuating 695 people and providing medical treatment to 515 individuals as reported on Friday.
