Sheng Lihao Clinches Bronze at Munich World Cup 🎯🇨🇳

Olympic champion Sheng Lihao added another medal to his collection, securing bronze in the men’s 10m air rifle event at the ISSF World Cup in Munich! 🥉 The Chinese sharpshooter, who previously dominated the Lima leg with gold in April, led qualifications with 635.3 points but faced fierce competition in the finals.

Russian shooter Ilia Marsov stole the show with a jaw-dropping 252.3 points for gold, while Norway’s Jon-Hermann Hegg edged Sheng by 0.9 points for silver. Despite the nail-biting finish, Sheng’s 230.2 points kept China’s medal momentum alive. 💪

In the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions, Norway’s Jeanette Hegg Duestad dominated early and clinched gold, with China’s Miao Wanru finishing fifth. China still leads the overall medal tally with 3 golds and 1 bronze—proving their shooting squad is 🔥 this season!

Up next? Friday’s women’s 10m air pistol and men’s 25m rapid fire pistol finals. Stay tuned! 🎯
