Taiwan Delegation Explores Guizhou’s Culture & Mega Bridge 🌉✨

A 29-member ethnic minority delegation from the Taiwan region recently embarked on a cultural and infrastructural deep-dive in Guizhou’s Zhenfeng County. Their journey blended awe-inspiring engineering with vibrant Bouyei traditions, offering a fresh perspective on cross-strait connections.

🏞️ The highlight? A visit to the under-construction Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge – set to become the world’s tallest bridge by late 2025. Imagine snapping selfies 800 meters above a river valley! The 2,890-meter marvel (that’s longer than 28 soccer fields!) promises to boost local tourism and connectivity.

🎶 Beyond steel and concrete, the delegation immersed in Bouyei folk music, traditional indigo dyeing, and bamboo-weaving workshops. One participant shared: "Seeing how ancient customs thrive alongside modern development here is mind-opening."

🌐 This trip follows increased cultural exchanges across the Taiwan Strait, with many residents of Taiwan recently visiting the Chinese mainland to explore shared heritage. As infrastructure bridges physical gaps, such visits build understanding – one folk song and suspension cable at a time.
