🎶 Utah Choir Bridges Cultures in China Tour: Harmony Beyond Borders 🌏

From ancient Xi’an’s terracotta warriors to Beijing’s modern skyline, the One Voice Children’s Choir from Utah has been hitting all the right notes on their China tour 🎤. Their performances, part of the ‘Bond with Kuliang: 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival’, are proving that music truly knows no borders.

‘Singing in Mandarin was like unlocking a new level of connection,’ shared 14-year-old choir member Emma, grinning as she recalled crowds cheering their rendition of ‘Mo Li Hua’ (Jasmine Flower) 🌸. Artistic Director Tanner DeWaal added, ‘The warmth we’ve felt here—it’s like the Great Wall of friendship!’

Since their last visit, the choir noticed more bilingual audiences and tech-savvy fans livestreaming their shows—a real-life ‘Pitch Perfect’ moment meets digital age diplomacy 💻. But the real magic? Moments like when a Beijing grandmother tearfully hugged performers after a folk song medley, whispering, ‘This is how the world should be.’

As global tensions make headlines, these young ambassadors are writing a different story—one verse, one harmony, one dumpling-filled post-concert hangout at a time 🥟. Because who needs politics when you’ve got perfect pitch?
