🇨🇳 China Smashes Finswimming Relay World Record at Chengdu World Games! 🏊♀️💥

History splashed into Chengdu this week as China’s women’s finswimming team blazed through the pool to claim a golden double and shatter their own world record! 🌊 The quartet of Shu Chengjing, Xu Yichuan, Xie Wenmin, and Hu Yaoyao dominated the surface relay 4x50m final with a jaw-dropping time of 1:07.99 – leaving fans roaring and competitors in their wake. 🥇

"We’re still pinching ourselves!" said Xu, 33, a four-time World Games veteran. "Practicing baton exchanges for weeks paid off – even 0.1 seconds mattered!" 💪 The team’s Sunday victory in the 4x100m relay set the stage for Monday’s record-breaking encore, fueled by hometown cheers and relentless training.

Hungary’s Nandor Kiss also made waves, snagging gold and a world record in the men’s surface 200m. "I dreamed of this since 2022 – still can’t believe it!" he said. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Sofiia Hrechko smashed the women’s 400m record (3:11.88), proving this year’s Games were a global showdown of speed. 🌍⚡

With 7 world records and 9 Games records broken over two days, Hungary led the medal tally (🥇x5), while Germany and Ukraine followed closely. China’s haul? Two golds, one silver, and a bronze – plus a whole lot of national pride. 🇨🇳✨
