China Slams U.S. Gaza Veto at UN: Calls for Ceasefire Now 🕊️

China has sharply criticized the United States for blocking UN action on the Gaza crisis, calling the repeated use of veto power a "major setback" for peace efforts. 🌍⚖️

Blocked Ceasefire Efforts

At a UN General Assembly debate, Chinese Ambassador Fu Cong accused the U.S. of shielding Israel and derailing international responses. "If not for the U.S. veto abuse, the Security Council’s response wouldn’t be so inadequate," Fu stated, highlighting over 100,000 civilian casualties and a "severe humanitarian catastrophe." 🚨

Humanitarian Crisis Deepens

Fu condemned Israel’s military operations in Gaza City and urged an immediate halt to attacks. He called the blockade "man-made" and slammed the "weaponization of aid" as violations of international law. 🏛️ Israel must "fully restore humanitarian access," he stressed.

Two-State Solution Push

Reiterating China’s stance, Fu declared the two-state solution the only path to lasting peace. "Gaza and the West Bank remain Palestinian territory," he said, urging global support for Palestinian self-governance. 🤝

China pledged to collaborate internationally to "alleviate the catastrophe" and achieve a "just, lasting settlement." Will world leaders listen? 🔥
