Hungary Welcomes Hungarian Edition of Xi Jinping’s Governance Book 🌍📖

Budapest just turned a new page in cross-cultural diplomacy! 🇨🇳🤝🇭🇺 The Hungarian edition of the second volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China launched Friday, sparking lively discussions on global cooperation and state governance at a high-profile symposium attended by 200+ officials, scholars, and cultural leaders.

Why This Book Matters

Translated jointly by China’s Foreign Languages Press and Hungary’s John von Neumann University, the 99-entry collection spans speeches, articles, and policy insights from 2014–2017. Sandor Fazekas, Hungarian Parliament deputy speaker, called it a roadmap for balancing ‘development with tradition’ and ‘national sovereignty with global responsibility.’ 🌱⚖️

Bridging Civilizations

Levente Horvath, director of the Eurasia Center, dubbed the book a ‘key to understanding China’s global vision,’ while Gyula Thurmer of the Hungarian Workers’ Party praised its fresh take on ‘reshaping world order.’ Chinese Ambassador Gong Tao highlighted its role in boosting the China-Hungary strategic partnership. 🤝💡

Cultural & Intellectual Exchange

The National Szechenyi Library plans to feature the book as a resource for studying China’s modernization. Meanwhile, experts debated topics from Belt and Road collaboration to shared governance models—proving this isn’t just a book launch, but a catalyst for global dialogue. 📚✨
