China's Grain Mission: Feeding the Future

China has kicked off an ambitious campaign to significantly boost its grain output in the coming years, aiming to ensure robust food security for its population. 🌾✨

According to an action plan released by the State Council, the country targets an increase in grain production capacity by over 50 million tonnes by 2030. To achieve this, the grain-growing area will expand to approximately 1.75 billion mu (about 117 million hectares), and the grain yield per mu is expected to reach 420 kilograms.

This initiative builds on China's impressive track record, which includes nine consecutive years of grain harvests exceeding 650 million tonnes. With a per capita grain share standing at 493 kilograms, the campaign underscores China's commitment to sustaining and improving its agricultural output.

Stay tuned as China takes monumental steps to secure its food future! 🌍💬✨
