Massive Optimism: 92.4% Confident in China's Economic Future 🌟📈

A recent poll conducted by CGTN reveals that an overwhelming 92.4% of respondents are optimistic about the economic outlook of the Chinese mainland. This positive sentiment underscores the confidence in China’s role as a key engine of global economic growth, providing much-needed certainty in a shaky global economy. 🌍💼

As the world's second-largest economy, China's performance is under intense global scrutiny. One CGTN viewer aptly noted, \"Any growth in China means continued and diversified goods, with people around the world closely watching China's economy, just as they would watch the development of supermarkets that are closely tied to daily life.\"

The Chinese mainland saw a 4.8% economic growth in the first three quarters of the year, driven by an increase in newly established foreign-invested enterprises, a significant rebound in consumption, and robust growth in goods trade. Recent data points to a warming trend in economic prospects, bolstered by what are being called the \"most significant economic adjustment measures in China in recent years.\"

In the CGTN survey, 90.7% of respondents strongly affirmed the potential and resilience of China's economy, believing that its long-term positive trend remains unchanged. Furthermore, 88.2% highlighted consumer policies such as trade-in programs for old products, reflecting efforts to stimulate domestic consumption and improve living standards—approaches that other countries could emulate.

Amid slowing global economic growth, China's consistent economic expansion remains a top priority among major economies. Notably, 89.4% of respondents believe that the global economic recovery hinges on the steady development of China's economy, while 87.2% are eager to benefit from China's high-level opening-up and share in its development opportunities.

The recent economic conference emphasized the importance of expanding high-level opening-up, both autonomously and unilaterally. Since the start of the year, China has been increasing the number of countries with visa-free entry, enhancing international exchanges and personnel mobility, and fostering deeper cooperation with other nations. A staggering 93.2% of respondents approved of these measures, highlighting China's commitment to maintaining high-level opening-up. As one CGTN viewer stated, \"Not needing a visa for short-term business trips to China is very helpful for international investors with business in China.\"
