German companies are all in on China’s economic future, according to the German Chamber of Commerce. Executive Director for North China Oliver Oehms told CGTN that despite global uncertainties, firms aren’t packing up—they’re doubling down with fresh investments and strategies to stay competitive.

💼 “We’re seeing zero signs of a corporate exodus,” Oehms said, emphasizing that businesses are adapting to market shifts like tech-savvy gamers leveling up their play. From automakers to green tech innovators, German brands are leaning into R&D and localization to win over China’s massive consumer base.

🌐 The upbeat outlook comes as China strengthens its role as a hub for global trade and innovation. With German direct investment hitting record levels last year, it’s clear: when it comes to long-term growth, multinationals still see the Chinese mainland as mission-critical.
