Seven-year-old Liu Xinyi has painted her way to global recognition with a vibrant collage blending China’s rich traditions with futuristic ambitions. Her artwork, The Most Beautiful China, just won Second Prize in the 'China Through My Eyes' Global Children's Art Project – and it’s a visual feast! 🚄
Dig the details: A sleek high-speed train splits the scene like a time machine. To the left, peonies bloom around a Temple of Heaven-inspired pavilion 🏯. To the right? A mythical dragon coils around an ancient huabiao column while Shanghai’s space-age Oriental Pearl Tower glows nearby. Snow-capped mountains and cranes complete this harmony of old and new.
“I wanted to show how our stories and our future can dance together,” said Liu through a competition statement. Organized to showcase youth perspectives, the project received over 10,000 entries worldwide 🌍.
