Qin Haiyang clinched gold in the men’s 100m breaststroke with a blazing 55.61 seconds—tying the World Cup record! Belarus’s Ilya Shymanovich (55.72s) and the Netherlands’ Caspar Corbeau (56.67s) took silver and bronze, respectively.
China’s medal haul didn’t stop there: Yang Junxuan grabbed silver in the women’s 50m freestyle (23.89s), while Yu Yiting snagged another silver in the 100m medley, narrowly losing to Team USA’s Kate Douglass. Shoutout to Siobhan Bernadette Haughey from China’s Hong Kong for her bronze in the 50m freestyle!
