The Chinese mainland has embarked on a groundbreaking journey by initiating a 5G+ industrial internet pilot program across 10 major cities, including Nanjing, Wuhan, and Qingdao. This strategic move aims to accelerate the high-quality development and widespread application of 5G technology in the industrial sector.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), these selected cities will focus on building robust 5G-powered industrial clusters and fostering innovation ecosystems that set benchmarks both regionally and nationally. By leveraging the latest advancements in 5G and industrial internet technologies, the program seeks to spearhead the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, providing fresh momentum for new industrialization.
