China Issues New Blue Alerts for Cold Waves and Strong Winds ❄️💨

Heads up! 🌬️❄️ China's meteorological authorities have just renewed blue alerts for cold waves and strong winds across various regions. Buckle up as sharp temperature drops and powerful gusts are set to sweep through parts of the Chinese mainland in the coming days.

From Saturday to Thursday, temperatures in most regions will plunge by six to 10 degrees Celsius, according to the National Meteorological Center. Even colder chills are on the horizon for areas in the northwest, north, and northeast, with drops between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius, and some spots plummeting up to 16 degrees Celsius!

Strong winds aren't holding back either. The National Meteorological Center has put out a blue alert for fierce winds expected from 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday. These winds will hit regions like the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region, as well as provinces of Qinghai and Gansu, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the Taiwan Strait, the sea area off the east of Taiwan, and parts of the South China Sea.

Meanwhile, Beijing is gearing up for some wintry weather. The Beijing Meteorological Service warns of a significant temperature drop starting Sunday evening, bringing rain and snow to the city. The western and northern parts of Beijing could see anything from sleet to snow, while most urban areas and plains will be drenched in rainfall. Thankfully, the rain and snow are expected to end by noon on Monday, but brace for strong winds and freezing temperatures until Wednesday. ❄️🌧️🌬️

China's weather warning system uses four color codes, with red indicating the most severe weather, followed by orange, yellow, and blue. Stay safe and keep an eye on updates! 🌀📱
