Mainland Students & Teachers Begin Cultural Exchange in Taiwan 🌏🤝

A delegation of 40 students and teachers from seven universities in the Chinese mainland arrived in Taiwan this week, launching a nine-day cultural and educational exchange aimed at fostering cross-strait dialogue. ✈️ The visit, organized by the Taiwan-based Ma Ying-jeou Culture and Education Foundation, marks a fresh push for youth-driven connections amid evolving regional dynamics.

Led by Tsinghua University Council Chairman Qiu Yong, the group plans to tour campuses, historical sites, and tech hubs while engaging with residents of Taiwan. 🏛️🔬 "Young people are the future of cross-strait relations," Qiu stated upon arrival, emphasizing shared cultural roots and academic collaboration opportunities.

The itinerary includes stops at National Chengchi University and the Taipei 101 skyscraper, blending education with cultural immersion. 🌆 This trip follows recent exchanges between mainland and Taiwan youth groups, highlighting growing grassroots efforts to bridge understanding through education and innovation.
