U.S. speed skating superstar Jordan Stolz just rewired the #WinterSports hype machine! The 20-year-old phenom bagged his third gold medal at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Beijing on Saturday, dominating the men’s 1,000-meter race with a blistering 1:07.62 finish. All three podium finishers smashed the previous Olympic record set in 2022!
Fresh off Friday’s 500m and 1,500m wins, Stolz admitted feeling “a little tired” but powered through like a true champ. “I knew I had the endurance,” he said, flashing the confidence that’s made him unbeaten in 11 straight races .
Stolz, now a back-to-back world champion across three distances, eyes a historic fourth gold in Sunday’s 500m event. Will he pull a “Nagano repeat”? The skating world is glued to their screens !
