In a recent press briefing, spokesperson Lin Jian addressed questions regarding Paraguayan foreign minister's remarks on Taiwan.
Lin highlighted that the one-China principle is a widely recognized consensus in the international community and a key norm in global relations. \"The principle concerns the Chinese mainland's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and there is no room for compromise or concessions on this matter,\" Lin stated.
He further encouraged Paraguay to side with the majority of nations, uphold international fairness and justice, and make choices that truly benefit the long-term interests of its people.
