The minister also spotlighted China’s recent reforms, including plans from July’s CPC Central Committee meeting, which aim to ‘level up’ Chinese modernization and ensure broader access to rights. ‘Historic achievements’ in China’s human rights journey, he said, prove the effectiveness of its people-centered strategy.

Wang urged wealthy nations to support developing countries, stressing that ‘no one should be left behind.’ He called for multilateralism, respect for diverse governance paths, and partnerships with UN agencies to advance universal human rights values.
The dialogue, co-hosted by China’s Foreign Ministry and the UN Human Rights Office, brought together global leaders to tackle pressing challenges in rights protection.
