Xizang Earthquake Relief: Resettlement Efforts in Full Swing 🏕️🔥

A powerful magnitude-6.8 earthquake rattled Dingri County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region this week, but resettlement efforts are already bringing hope to affected communities. Over 47,500 residents have been relocated to 224 temporary shelters, where hot meals, medical care, and clean water are now available 🍲💧.

With nighttime temperatures dropping below -10°C ❄️, authorities prioritized distributing 12,730 tents, 1,572 winter stoves, and 3,020 electric blankets to keep families warm. 'We’re ensuring no one faces the cold alone,' said Hao Tao of Xizang's emergency management team.

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee has injected 50 million yuan ($6.96M) in emergency funds—collected from CPC members' fees—to support frontline workers and the most vulnerable. Relief trucks are rolling in with fuel and supplies, proving that even in crisis, #CommunityFirst remains the motto 🌏🤝.
