Chinese speed skaters added to their medal tally at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Poland this weekend, with Han Mei clinching 🥈 in the women’s 1,000-meter race! The 24-year-old blazed through the track in 1:16.31, narrowly missing gold to Japan’s Miho Takagi (1:14.80) in a nail-biting finish. Another Japanese skater, Rio Yamada, took bronze with 1:16.33—just 0.02 seconds behind Han! 🔥

Meanwhile, in the women’s 3,000-meter event, China’s Yang Binyu secured sixth place (4:08.37) as Norway’s Ragne Wiklund dominated the podium with a gold-winning 4:03.70. Dutch and Italian skaters rounded out the top three.
