China’s Sanjiangyuan National Park, dubbed the 'Water Tower of China', is thriving like never before! Thanks to the tireless efforts of over 21,000 ethnic Zang rangers, this ecological gem in Qinghai Province has seen a massive boost in biodiversity and sustainability, according to CPPCC member Lian Yuming.
During a high-profile panel at Beijing’s Great Hall of the People, Lian – a top expert at the Sanjiangyuan National Park Administration – shared that the park now shelters 3,000+ plant species and 310 animal species, from snow leopards to rare alpine blooms.
The rangers, many local residents, blend traditional knowledge with modern conservation practices. 'Their dedication ensures every corner of this 12.3-million-hectare wonderland is protected,' Lian emphasized. Talk about #SquadGoals!
Sanjiangyuan isn’t just China’s ecological shield – it’s a global model for balancing community-led stewardship and environmental resilience. Stay tuned as these green warriors keep rewriting the playbook!
