Chinese VP Engages Global Leaders at Boao Forum 2025 🌏✨

Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang stepped into the spotlight this week at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025, hosting high-stakes talks with global leaders in Hainan Province. The forum, often dubbed “Asia’s Davos,” became a hub for diplomacy and economic strategy as Ding outlined China’s vision for collaboration.

Ding, a top CPC official, met with Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone to reaffirm ties, emphasizing mutual support on “core interests” and expanding cooperation in tech, infrastructure, and green energy. Sonexay pledged to advance the Laos-China community with a shared future, highlighting regional solidarity.

The vice premier also sat down with Aren B. Palik of Micronesia, pushing for stronger trade and marine economy partnerships. Both sides agreed to tackle climate challenges head-on. Palik reiterated Micronesia’s firm backing for the one-China principle, supporting Beijing’s positions on the Taiwan question and Hong Kong affairs.
