China’s Foreign Minister Calls for Solidarity Among Nations

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged like-minded countries to uphold multilateralism and oppose protectionism during the Sixth China-Central Asia Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Almaty 🇰🇿. Addressing trade tensions, Wang criticized countries prioritizing "self-interest over global fairness," warning their credibility is at stake.

Building Bridges with Central Asia

Wang highlighted the upgraded all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership with Uzbekistan, emphasizing joint infrastructure projects like the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway 🚅. New collaborations in AI, digital trade, and climate change are also in the works, aiming to boost modernization for both nations.

A Shared Vision for the Future

Wang reiterated China’s commitment to fostering "amity, stability, and prosperity" with neighboring countries under recent foreign policy goals. Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov praised China’s "sense of responsibility" in global affairs and reaffirmed support for the one-China principle.

Both nations pledged to strengthen ties through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with Saidov confidently backing China’s upcoming leadership of the SCO Tianjin Summit 🌐.
