China & Hungary Unite for Human Rights Dialogue 🌍✨

Experts, officials, and scholars from China and Hungary gathered in Budapest this week for a landmark symposium on international human rights, blending historical reflection with forward-thinking solutions. The event, themed around 80 years of progress since the UN’s founding, spotlighted the power of cross-cultural collaboration in tackling global challenges. 🕊️

"Mutual respect and cooperation are the bedrock of human rights progress," said Baima Chilin of the China Society for Human Rights Studies, urging nations to prioritize inclusivity and development.

Chinese Ambassador Gong Tao stressed both countries’ commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights while opposing politicization and double standards. Meanwhile, Hungarian Workers’ Party leader Gyula Thurmer praised China’s principles for a "new world order" rooted in equality and shared development. 💡

Andras Bencsik, editor of Magyar Demokrata, added a poetic touch: "Respect and love transcend borders—they’re the ultimate human rights." The symposium, co-hosted by Chinese and Hungarian institutions, wrapped with calls for unity in an era of geopolitical shifts. 🤝
