China Dominates Global Digital Economy Patents in 2024 🚀💡

China has claimed the top spot in global digital innovation, securing more core digital economy patents than any other country in 2024. With a 23.1% year-on-year surge in authorized invention patents, the nation now holds over 500,000 patents in fields like AI, blockchain, and big data, according to the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). 🌐✨

At the 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference, officials revealed that 60% of the world’s AI-related patents now belong to Chinese innovators. 🤖📈 International interest is booming too: foreign companies from 95 countries and regions hold 407,000 valid patents in China’s digital sectors, signaling strong global confidence in its tech ecosystem.

"This growth reflects China’s role as a digital economy powerhouse," said CNIPA head Shen Changyu. Overseas patent grants for Chinese tech firms have more than doubled since 2016, hitting 52,000 in 2024—proving that innovation knows no borders. 🌍💼
