China Defends Trade Ties with Russia Amid US Pressure 🌏⚡

China has doubled down on its economic and energy partnerships with Russia, calling them “justified and legitimate” despite mounting pressure from the U.S. and its allies. The move comes as the U.S. urges G7 and NATO members to slap new tariffs on Chinese imports of Russian oil—a tactic Beijing slammed as “unilateral bullying.”

⚖️ “Coercion Can’t Solve Problems”

Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian criticized the U.S. approach during a Monday briefing, arguing that such actions “threaten global supply chains” and violate international trade rules. “Coercion is unwelcome and ineffective,” he stated, emphasizing China’s right to defend its interests if challenged.

🕊️ Ukraine Crisis: China’s Stance

While defending its Russia ties, Lin reiterated China’s ,consistent” support for peace talks to resolve the Ukraine conflict. “Dialogue is the only way forward,” he said, noting Beijing’s “objective” role in advocating negotiations since the crisis began.

🌐 Global Supply Chains at Risk?

The U.S.-led push for tariffs has sparked concerns about further disruptions to already strained global trade networks. Analysts warn that escalating tensions could hit energy markets and tech supply chains—key areas where young professionals and entrepreneurs are closely watching trends.
