China Celebrates Palace Museum’s 100th Year with Stunning Stamps 🏛️✨

China Post just dropped a 🔥 commemorative stamp set honoring the Palace Museum’s 100th anniversary – and it’s a visual feast for history buffs and art lovers alike! Released on October 10, 2025, the two stamps (each worth 1.20 yuan, ~17¢) spotlight the Forbidden City’s dual legacy of scientific innovation and artistic mastery.

📜 Stamp 1 features a dazzling Qing Dynasty gold celestial globe ✨, studded with pearls and etched with ancient star maps – a testament to China’s early astronomical achievements. Stamp 2 zooms in on the Qiannian Hehe Zhou ("Millennium Harmony Scroll"), a delicate floral masterpiece symbolizing unity and cultural fusion by Qing artist Ma Yuanyu.

Built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty, the Palace Museum housed 24 emperors over nearly 500 years 🏮. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s not just a museum – it’s a time machine connecting modern visitors to China’s imperial past through 600 years of art, architecture, and artifacts.

Fun fact: The Forbidden City attracts over 19 million visitors annually, making it one of Earth’s most-visited cultural sites! 🌍 Which stamp design would you frame? Let us know below! 👇
