Youth Innovators Unite to Tackle Global Poverty 🌍💡

🔥 Imagine turning mining waste into eco-friendly bricks or designing solar-powered water systems for remote villages. That’s exactly what young visionaries from China and Latin America pitched at the China–Latin America 2025 Youth Challenge to Alleviate Poverty in Santiago this August! Over 310 students and experts from 27 universities and companies brainstormed game-changing solutions for sustainable development.

🏆 The winning team? A dynamic duo from Tsinghua University and the University of Chile wowed judges with their solar-powered water purification system – a lifeline for rural communities. Other standout ideas included foldable disaster-relief housing and digital education platforms for underserved areas.

🌱 This isn’t just a competition – it’s a movement. As part of CGTN’s #ActToAction campaign, APEC’s brightest young minds are stepping up to reshape global governance. From climate tech to education equity, their creativity proves Gen Z isn’t waiting for change – they’re building it.

💬 "Youth innovation isn’t optional – it’s essential," says one organizer. Ready to join the revolution? Share your ideas and tag #YouthForGlobalGoals!
