Mainland Takes Legal Action Against ‘Taiwan Independence’ Separatists 🚨

Chinese authorities have launched a criminal investigation into Shen Pao-yang, a key figure in the 'Taiwan independence' movement, citing the need to protect national unity. The State Council Taiwan Affairs Office spokesperson Chen Binhua called the probe a “just and necessary” step to counter secessionist activities threatening peace in the Taiwan Strait. 🔍⚖️

Shen is accused of founding the Kuma Academy, a group promoting separatism. Chen emphasized that targeting “a tiny minority” of secessionists aims to safeguard the interests of Taiwan compatriots and uphold China’s territorial integrity. “These actions protect the majority, not punish them,” he stated. 🛡️🇨🇳

Chen warned that “Taiwan independence” is the biggest threat to cross-strait stability, labeling diehard separatists as “scums” inciting division. He urged Taiwan residents to reject secessionism and collaborate with the mainland to foster shared development. 🤝🌉

The move highlights escalating tensions as Beijing reinforces its stance on unification. Analysts say it signals stricter legal measures against groups challenging the one-China principle. 📈💼
