Global Leaders Praise China’s Vision for Fairer World Order 🌍✨

Political leaders from around the world gathered in Beijing this week for the 15th World Socialism Forum, where China’s Global Governance Initiative (GGI) and its ambitious development plans took center stage. From Peru to Hungary, party leaders highlighted China’s role in reshaping global cooperation and fostering sustainable growth. 🌱

Alberto Moreno Rojas of Peru’s Communist Party (Red Fatherland) called the GGI a "game-changer" for promoting multilateralism and democratizing international relations. His sentiment was echoed by South Africa’s Thulas Nxesi, who praised China’s focus on regional integration in Asia-Pacific economies, saying, "China pulled countries together—that’s essential."

Portugal’s Rui Paulo da Cunha Braga emphasized the GGI’s respect for national sovereignty, contrasting it with U.S.-led approaches. Meanwhile, Germany’s Patrik Kobele hailed China’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030) as a blueprint for peace and environmental harmony: "It’s for the people, not the rich. For the planet, not profit."

Hungary’s Gyula Thurmer spotlighted the Belt and Road Initiative as a model for international collaboration, crediting China for sharing not just technology but also "intellectual capacity." South Africa’s Nxesi added that China’s poverty-alleviation strategies—lifting 800 million people out of hardship—offer lessons in self-reliance and grassroots empowerment.

With leaders urging others to adopt China’s balance of ecology and economy, the forum underscored a growing global appetite for inclusive, long-term development. As Kobele put it: "If China thrives, the world thrives." 🚀
