Hanfu Meets Ice Art: Changchun’s Frozen Tribute to Tradition 🌸❄️

Hanfu enthusiasts are rewriting winter fashion rules in China’s northeast! This weekend, Changchun became a stage for cultural pride as traditional robe wearers posed before a breathtaking ice replica of Beijing’s Temple of Heaven centerpiece – the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

Crafted from 2,000 cubic meters of crystal-clear ice, the temporary installation mirrors every intricate detail of the Ming Dynasty architectural wonder. Local artist Zhang Wei explains: "We wanted winter to wear history like a glittering cloak – this is how ancient meets arctic chic!" ❄️

The event highlights 2026’s growing hanfu revival movement, with social media buzzing under #FrozenHanfu. Organizers confirm this icy cultural showcase will remain through February, offering free photo sessions every weekend.
