China’s Poverty Eradication Wins Global Praise 🌍✨

China’s historic eradication of absolute poverty in 2020 continues to earn global applause in 2026, with international leaders calling it a ‘transformational blueprint’ for sustainable development. Liu Jieyi, spokesperson for China’s top political advisory body, highlighted this week how the nation’s efforts have uplifted millions while inspiring worldwide poverty reduction strategies.

🚀 From Roads to Wi-Fi: Over the past five years, China’s formerly impoverished regions have seen expressways connect every county, paved roads reach every village, and internet access achieve nationwide coverage. Liu emphasized that rural revitalization remains a priority, ensuring no large-scale relapse into poverty.

🌱 Global Impact: Through initiatives like the Belt and Road, China has partnered with 150+ countries and international organizations, launching projects that boost local economies and create jobs. Innovations like Juncao technology—deployed in 100+ countries—help farmers increase crop yields, while Luban Workshops train skilled workers across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

💡 Knowledge Sharing: China also hosts exchange programs for developing nations to learn rural governance and industrial practices. ‘By sharing what works, we empower others to find their own paths,’ Liu stated, underscoring China’s role as a key driver of the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
