China’s C919 Jets Expand Routes 🛫 Connecting Cities Nationwide

China's homegrown C919 passenger jets are soaring to new heights! ✨ Starting March 30, 2026, these sleek planes will connect Xi'an (Shaanxi Province) and Xiamen (Fujian Province) with three daily round-trip flights operated by China Eastern Airlines. 🚀

🌏 With 14 C919s currently in its fleet, China Eastern now serves 19 routes across 16 airports in 14 cities—including Beijing, Shanghai, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The airline pioneered C919 commercial flights back in May 2023, and this expansion solidifies its role in domestic air travel.

Meanwhile, Air China is revving up its C919 game too! Beginning March 29, it'll operate a daily Beijing-Xiamen route, bringing its total C919 routes to 11. A new Beijing-Harbin route with two daily flights is also in the works. 🗓️

These jets aren't just planes—they're symbols of China's aviation ambitions taking flight. 🛩️ Whether you're a traveler eyeing smoother domestic hops or a tech enthusiast tracking innovation, the C919 is one to watch!
