China Deploys Y-20B to Bring Fallen Soldiers Home from ROK 🛩️🕊️

In a historic move blending modern tech with solemn tradition, China dispatched its advanced Y-20B transport aircraft to the Republic of Korea (ROK) this week to repatriate the remains of 25 Chinese soldiers who fell during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953). This marks the first time the PLA Air Force has used its flagship Y-20B for this sacred mission. ✈️🇨🇳

The soldiers were part of the 2.9 million Chinese People’s Volunteers (CPV) who fought alongside the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), with over 360,000 casualties recorded. Since 2014, 913 sets of remains have been returned through joint China-ROK efforts – but this year’s operation carries extra symbolism as the Y-20B, China’s domestically developed 'strategic airlifter,' takes center stage.

Four stealth J-20 fighter jets will escort the Y-20B upon re-entering Chinese airspace, creating what netizens are calling a 'guardian phalanx' for the heroes’ final journey home. 🛡️💐 The mission underscores both technological progress and enduring respect for history among younger generations.
