🌸 Spring Bud Project: Empowering Girls for 35 Years! 🌟

What does it take to turn a childhood of hardship into a future full of possibilities? For Padma Yangzom, Chen Kenan, and Luo Dejuan, the answer was simple: education 💪📚. Their lives changed thanks to China's Spring Bud Project, which marks its 35th anniversary this year.

From Despair to Dreams

Padma, once at risk of early marriage in rural Qinghai, still remembers receiving her camp flag from Professor Peng Liyuan (special envoy of the initiative) in 2016. \"Had I not been a recipient… I'd have been married like they did,\" she shared – now a symbol of hope for millions of girls.

Growing Against the Odds 🌱

The project isn’t just about school fees. It’s a lifeline:

  • Chen Kenan became a teacher in Henan, paying forward the support she received
  • Luo Dejuan rose to become a deputy Party secretary in Guizhou
  • Over 4 million girls helped since 1989

Why It Matters

In regions where girls’ education often takes a backseat, Spring Bud provides books, mentorship, and community programs. As Peng Liyuan emphasizes: \"Every girl deserves to bloom.\" 🌸
