China Institute Honors Master Chefs and Digital Creators at Annual Awards

🎉 On Wednesday, June 12, the China Institute in America celebrated culinary excellence and digital innovation by presenting its first-ever Culinary Center's Annual Award to three Chinese American master chefs. In addition, the institute honored six social media creators with the \"Digital Icon Award\" for their dedication to promoting authentic Chinese cuisine and culture.

The China Institute in America, founded in New York City in 1926 by American educators John Dewey and Paul Monroe alongside Chinese scholars Hu Shi and Kuo Ping-Wen, has long been dedicated to deepening the world's understanding of China through diverse programs in art, business, culinary, culture, and education.

The Culinary Center's Annual Award recognizes outstanding chefs who elevate the art of Chinese cuisine, blending tradition with modern techniques. Meanwhile, the Digital Icon Award highlights the influential role of social media creators in sharing and preserving Chinese culinary heritage in the digital age.

\"These awards not only honor individual excellence but also celebrate the vibrant and evolving landscape of Chinese culture and cuisine,\" said a representative from the China Institute. \"We are proud to recognize those who are making significant contributions to our mission of cultural exchange and understanding.\"

Congratulations to all the award recipients for their remarkable achievements and for inspiring others to explore and appreciate the rich flavors and stories behind Chinese cuisine.
