Malaysia Wows at Xinjiang Expo, Marks 50 Years with China 🇲🇾🤝

The 8th China-Eurasia Expo in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, turned into a global melting pot this week 🌍, with Malaysia stealing the spotlight! Over 50 countries and regions gathered, but all eyes were on Malaysia's vibrant pavilion showcasing batik art, traditional dances, and mouthwatering nasi lemak samples 🎪🍛.

With 2024 marking 50 years of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia's Director General told CGTN: \"We're not just celebrating history—we're building bridges for more travel adventures and cultural swaps!\" ✈️ The delegation aims to boost tourism collabs, from rainforest eco-tours to city food trails.

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia added: \"Young travelers drive this connection. We want Chinese Gen Z to experience our festivals—imagine surfing in Borneo one day and joining Kuala Lumpur’s midnight markets the next!\" 🌃🏄

Psst… Rumor has it next year’s ‘Visit Malaysia’ campaign might include K-pop collaborations 🎤. Stay tuned!
