In anticipation of the upcoming 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), China Media Group (CMG) recently hosted an exciting media exchange event in Beijing. Titled \"A Civilization Symphony and a Digital Dream-Builder: 'African Partners',\" the event aimed to strengthen media cooperation and foster cultural exchanges between China and Africa in our digital era.
Over 200 participants from more than 20 African countries joined representatives from international organizations, media outlets, and think tanks to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative activities. The vibrant atmosphere highlighted the shared commitment to mutual learning and innovation in media practices.
The event featured inspiring video messages from prominent African leaders, including Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadera, and Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan. They emphasized the importance of enhanced media exchanges and practical cooperation to support the growth and development of their respective regions.
