Empowering Women: China & Africa Unite at Education Summit 🌍✊

In a powerful display of cross-continental collaboration, Peng Liyuan—wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping and UNESCO special envoy for girls' and women's education—joined spouses of African leaders at a Beijing conference focused on advancing gender equality through education. The event, held during the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit, spotlighted the shared vision of empowering women globally.

🎙️ 'Education is the golden key to unlocking women's potential,' Peng stated, drawing applause from representatives of 26 African nations. The conference also featured Wang Yaping, China's first female astronaut to work on the Tiangong space station, who shared her journey from rural classrooms to the stars: 'When girls dream big, they lift entire communities.'
