Youth empowerment just got a global upgrade! A major media campaign launched Monday in Rio de Janeiro aims to connect young minds across the Global South through creative collaborations and cross-border exchanges.
Breaking Down Borders
Led by China Media Group (CMG), Brazil’s General Secretariat of the Presidency, and the G20’s youth-focused Y20 group, the initiative will focus on media innovation, arts, social research, and sports. Think TikTok meets cultural diplomacy meets grassroots activism!
Power in Numbers
The campaign already unites 215 media organizations from 74 countries – a network poised to amplify youth voices from Jakarta to Johannesburg. CMG President Shen Haixiong described it as a 'shared stage for Gen-Z changemakers' during the launch ceremony.
Pro tip for travelers: This could mean fresh cultural exchange programs to watch!
