With less than a month left before the Asian Winter Games kick off in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China has introduced their dazzling outfits for the upcoming medal awarding ceremonies.
Olympic freestyle skiing aerials champion Xu Mengtao took center stage to present the new uniforms during a stylish runway show. The designs are inspired by a \"snow and ice romance,\" featuring a red snowflake pattern symbolizing the unwavering determination of the athletes.
The indoor attire boasts China's first self-developed high-performance waterproof and moisture-permeable material, ensuring athletes stay warm and comfortable no matter the conditions. For outdoor events, the uniforms are equipped with a body microclimate adjustment system, allowing the fabric to store and conduct heat effectively.
Short track speed skater Liu Guanyi shared his excitement, saying, \"These clothes use waterproof and moisture-permeable material, and offer professional performance in wind and waterproofing and drying. This design is amazing, we athletes like it very much, and I really want to be able to show it on the podium at the Asian Winter Games.\"
