Meet Chu Weimin, the grand prize winner of the 2019 National Geographic Travel Photo Contest! 🌍📸✨
"When I was in Greenland and Pakistan, I realized during my exploration that people were also part of the scenery, interacting with nature," said Chu Weimin.
Born in the 1990s, Chu introduced himself as an "outdoor photographer." He worked in a bank before resigning to pursue his passion full-time. So far, Chu has traveled to over 30 countries, capturing breathtaking moments.
He believes that photography is a powerful voice to influence society and showcase the diversity of our world.
