🎨🌏 Art has a unique way of connecting people, transcending language barriers and cultural differences. Colombian travel photographer Esteban Toro embodies this spirit through his passion for Chinese landscapes and culture.
From 2017 to 2019, Toro visited China five times, capturing the essence of places like Guangxi in south China. In a recent video, he shares his beautiful memories of living alongside local fishermen on the banks of the Lijiang River. 🐟🏞️
Despite language differences, Toro found that music, photography, and art enabled him to communicate and forge meaningful connections with the local communities. His journey also took him to the enchanting Huangluo Yao Village, where he immersed himself in a culture he had never encountered before.
Through his work, Toro hopes the Western world gains a deeper understanding of the real China. He eagerly looks forward to returning and continuing his exploration of the country's rich cultural tapestry.
